The ESI-USB© software allows you to connect your ESI transducer to your laptop or PC and be up and running monitoring pressure data within ten minutes. The software auto-updates and is compatible with Windows 8, 10 & 11.

Let Your Laptop take the Pressure!

The GS4200-USB Pressure Sensor from ESI Technology plugs straight into your laptop, tablet or PC. Using the free software up to 16 points can be measured simultaneously and customised test certificates can be produced.

Whether you are looking to perform test and calibration, spot checks or local, direct monitoring the GS4200-USB is the convenient solution. It is easy to install and there is no need for any extra hardware or software.

Convenience is not the only factor. The GS4200-USB employs Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) is the sensor element technology used. Pressure sensors constructed using SOS exhibit exceptional performance and outstanding stability when compared with older, more traditional methods of manufacture. The sapphire substrate also allows the sensor to operate over a very wide temperature range without loss of performance due to its outstanding insulation properties.

The superior features don’t end there. The SOS sensor element is then bonded to a titanium diaphragm instead of traditional stainless steel. High overpressures, very low hysteresis and great corrosion resistance are the result.

ESI Technology manufactures a wide range of pressure sensors, strain gauges and telemetry systems from its purpose built factory in Wrexham, north Wales.

The Importance of Intrinsic Safety in Instrumentation for the Mining Industry

Intrinsic safety (IS) is a critical design and operational principle in instrumentation used within the mining industry. Mines are often classified as hazardous areas due to the presence of flammable gases, combustible dust, or reactive substances. Intrinsically safe instrumentation is engineered to operate with energy levels below those capable of igniting such volatile environments, ensuring that safety and operational efficiency are not compromised.
