The International Fair of Techniques and Technical Achievements is the oldest technical and technological exhibition in this part of Europe, specialising in production technologies.

First held in 1937, it has played a pivotal role in the region’s industrial history and development. Many major fairs have their roots in this event, which has been a member of the International Union of Fairs (UFI, Paris) since 1957.

This fair significantly contributes to economic growth and has a profound impact on the future of Serbian industry and regional cooperation. As we enter the era of digital industrial integration, factories are transforming into digital, smart, and virtual environments, designed to be both human-centric and environmentally harmonious. Collaborative robots now work alongside humans in production, while virtual reality and the industrial internet eliminate spatial barriers. Artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things are revolutionising traditional business models, making industrial production more sustainable. At the heart of these advancements remains the human element—our creativity and imagination seamlessly integrated with new technologies. What was once visionary is now a reality, shaping the smart factories of the future.

The Belgrade Technical Fair continues to be a crucial venue for business meetings, idea exchanges, and the promotion of innovations and new technologies. It showcases advancements in Industry 4.0, focusing on the digitisation of production processes, and Industry 5.0, which integrates digital factories with human and environmental considerations. The fair also highlights smart and collaborative robots, robotic manufacturing processes, machine tools, machining centres, industrial automation, electronics, measuring equipment, process technology, and additive technologies such as 3D printing.

Further featured areas include new technologies and innovations, metallurgy, surface technology, welding, electric power, LED lighting, thermotechnics (including heating, cooling, and air conditioning systems), green industry initiatives, industrial ecology, water and gas purification, and the TRANS-BALKAN transport and logistics sector.
