The ESI Unit converter allows you to quickly and easily access a conversion tool to work out your preferred unit of pressure measurement wherever you may be. Whether out on-site or in the office.
The ESI-USB© software allows you to connect your ESI transducer to your laptop or PC and be up and running monitoring pressure data within ten minutes. The software auto-updates and is compatible with Windows 8, 10 & 11.
Pressure transducers are available with many digital outputs. By far the most popular is the USB (Universal Serial Bus). It is the ideal digital interface for connection of devices to desktop & laptop computers and other digital measurement instrumentation.
A USB interface provides a connection for communication and powering of digital pressure transducers. A cable providing a low DC supply voltage is used to transfer data from the sensor to your desktop.
The Genspec Dynamic USB Transducer, or the GD4200, is a digital pressure measurement system, comprising of a pressure transducer and software, which can be up and running very quickly without the need for wiring, separate power supplies or signal conditioning instrumentation. Live pressure measurement readouts are displayed on the screen of your laptop or PC. Up to 16 pressure inputs can be connected and monitored at the same time. Whether you are looking to perform test and calibration, spot checks or local, direct monitoring the GD4200-USB is the convenient solution.
Available in ranges to 5000 bar, and with a selectable sample rate up to 1000 readings per second (1000Hz), all potential pressure fluctuations can be easily captured and recorded. The speed of response is typically limited by the sensing technology or the signal conditioning electronics.
The beauty of the GD4200 is that Silicon-on-sapphire sensing technology is at the core of the product. Pressure sensors constructed using SOS exhibit exceptional performance and outstanding stability. The sapphire substrate allows the sensor to operate over a very wide temperature range without loss of performance due to its outstanding insulation properties. The SOS sensor element is then bonded to a titanium diaphragm instead of traditional stainless steel. High overpressures, very low hysteresis and great corrosion resistance are the result. A very quick microprocessor provide lots of data points from the SOS pressure sensor, and a signal conditioning module rationalises the electrical signal and converts it to one which is a commonly used standard within a particular industry or application.
In addition to measuring and recording pressure the GD4200-USB also charts and collects temperature data for analysis by the user. All of your data can be presented as a test certificate using the ESI-USBĀ© software, complete with your own test parameters and company logos.
